It’s been a very great honor for Amrita Performing Arts to be part of the production A Bend in the River by Sophiline Arts Ensemble. This work is conceived and choreographed by Sophiline Cheam Shapiro, co-founder and artistic director of the ensemble in collaboration with a number of other well-established artists including Dr. Him Sophy, Pich Sopheap, San Vannary, and Kong Vollak. The 3 days public performances welcome almost 2000 people in the audience who were stunt by the work. Many young Cambodians were seen in the audience and have shown their profound appreciation to their heritage and creativity. Amrita congratulates Sophiline Arts Ensemble for the success of this performance.
Stay tuned as Amrita’s next project is coming up.
