Flashback on the Platform’s 5th edition – Monkey’s Mask II (MMII)

Remember the two evenings of Contemporary Dance Platform this November? Check those snapshots of Monkey’s Mask II, choreographed by Phon Sopheap. Monkey’s Mask II is about the relationship between Sopheap and his spiritual dance master. Sopheap would like to explore how both dancer and dance spirituality influence one another and on how the two worlds co-exist. Through an energetic and acrobatic type of movement, the choreographer is interested in unveiling the layers of time, situations, memory and experience. What did you think of the piece? Leave us a comment below and thank you for supporting Amrita’s work! Pictures by Reth Chanbopha for our Media Partner Sabay.
